On Negative Ads

The Obama and McCain campaigns have accused each other of running a negative campaign. A recent article by CNN states that both campaigns are spending roughly the same amount on negative. However, since Obama has much greater cash reserves than McCain, Obama can afford to run positive ads about himself, along with the negative ads about McCain. Thus, about a third of Obama’s ads were negative, while nearly 100 percent of McCain’s ads are negative.

In 2000, McCain claimed that the negative campaign by Bush showed that Bush had no vision. Here is the YouTube clip:

You do anything when you are trailing and want to win, I guess!
